Enfield’s Parade of Lights is back for its tenth year, with the help of a whole host of volunteers and community groups and funding from Enfield Council. Enfield Town’s historic marketplace has some lively entertainment with carols and fireworks. Charities will be represented including the Enfield Living Memorial project.
The Enfield Womens' Centre are joining again this year at the Parade of Lights.

Enfield now has more than 50 electric vehicle sockets in street lampposts, for charging of electric vehicles.
By the end of the 2022, over 100 charging points will be available, focusing on areas covered by the extension of the Ultra-Low Emission Zone.

Enfield National Trust Association is a voluntary organisation for local members of the National Trust to support the preservation of our country’s heritage.
There are social events such as Quizzes, Christmas Lunches and Theatre trips. Our evening meetings from September to May, together with afternoon meetings from October to May, are friendly and sociable occasions. They usually consist of an illustrated talk about National Trust houses, gardens and countryside, or other interesting topics e.g. antiques, art, architecture, travel etc., together with refreshments.
The Association also raise funds for the National Trust by supporting specific appeals.

CINEMA WITH A DIFFERENCE
A film festival experience with a difference.
Three ‘Cycle-In Cinema’ films will be screened outdoors on 25th, 27th and 29th August.
The first screening is The Personal History of David Copperfield in the stunning gardens of Forty Hall behind the main house.
The second screening is Jurassic Park in the historic Pymmes Park near the visitors centre and walled garden in the southern-most end, in the performance area.
The final screening is The Ladykillers at Enfield Town Market Place in the historic cobbled square.

CINEMA WITH A DIFFERENCE
A film festival experience with a difference.
Three ‘Cycle-In Cinema’ films will be screened outdoors on 25th, 27th and 29th August.
The first screening is The Personal History of David Copperfield in the stunning gardens of Forty Hall behind the main house.
The second screening is Jurassic Park in the historic Pymmes Park near the visitors centre and walled garden in the southern-most end, in the performance area.
The final screening is The Ladykillers at Enfield Town Market Place in the historic cobbled square.

All residents are being urged to be tested twice a week for coronavirus especially if they are not in a cohort that is eligible for vaccination against the virus.
There are eight rapid testing centres in Enfield where you can take a test or pick up home testing kits. The kits can be ordered online or are being supplied from selected pharmacies.
It's important to be tested because one in three people with the virus don't show symptoms and could spread it without realising.

However, Northamptonshire County Council data shows that HMOs aren’t a significant factor.

The idea is that you'll be able to use their website to submit whatever's on your mind - it might be something about a community issue that's important to you, a local history feature, a flapjack recipe, a cycling route, or a match report from your football team. Anyone can do it, and you don't need to be an expert writer.
